Engineering Profile:
I am a highly motivated and creative individual with a keen interest in mechanical design. My engineering skill highlights are: concept development, concept sketching, technical presenting, 3D modeling, technical documentation, and team leading.
Project Experience:
2nd Year Final Project at BCIT: Design of an Internal Gearbox for Downhill Mountain Bikes
-
Worked in a three-person team to design and prototype an internal gearbox for downhill bikes
-
Lead the conceptual design process and 3D modeling process for the project
-
Assessed feasibility of individual component manufacturing and assembly of the entire mechanism
-
Used efficient design tools such as QFDs to discover customer needs; this was used to guide the project and give it relevant and tangible final objectives
-
Used project management tools such as Gantt charts, work breakdown schemes and task lists
-
-
Worked in a three-person team to design and prototype a system to load jet skis onto a pickup truck
-
Lead the conceptual design process and 3D modeling process for the project
-
Used project management tools and processes outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge handbook
-
Produced technical documentation detailing manufacturing and installation of the unit
-
